Simba, Coastal Union meet in unpredictable tie

Simba SC visit Coastal Union in an unpredictable Minland premier league match at the Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga this afternoon. In recent years, Simba have been getting into difficulty to defeat Coastal Union on their home ground, a situation which makes today’s game rather unpredictable.
The teams drew 2-2 in the first leg match staged at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam last year. Coastal Union had come from behind to level in the second half.
Simba beat JKT Ruvu 2-1 in their last game played in the Dar es Salaam ground while Coastal Union were recently beaten by Yanga 1-0 at the Mkwakwani Stadium.

Simba coach Goran Kopunovic said boasts that his team will win today’s game, maintaining that he saw the weaknesses of Coastal Union when they played Yanga on Wednesday. "Coastal Union is not a team to underrate. We will use their few weaknesses to tame them,” maintained the Serbian coach.
The Msimbazi Street side did not overcome Coastal Union when they twice met last season.
In last season’s matches, the two sides came to a barren draw at the Mkwakwani Stadium and then Coastal Union defeated Simba 1-0 at their National Stadium home ground. Simba are currently placed eighth in the 14-team league with 16 points while Coastal Union are placed seventh with 17.
Other matches on the menu are Polisi Morogoro will host Azam FC at the Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro while Ndanda FC welcome Stand United at the Nangwanda Sijaona grounds in Mtwara.
Kagera Sugar host Mgambo Shooting at the Kambarage Stadium in Shinyanga, Prisons meet Ruvu Shooting at the Sokoine Stadium and JKT Ruvu take on Mbeya City at the Azam Complex in Chamazi.
